Castroville - The Community & More
Medina County is an area in south central Texas containing the Medina River, Lake Medina, and the Medina Dam. It serves to drain the Balcones Escarpment of the Texas Hill Country and irrigate the farms contained therein.
Most importantly, the community prides themselves with their education and board. Medina is served by the Medina Valley Independent School District and home to the Medina Valley High School Panthers.
Shannon is a MVISD School Board Trustee herself and was elected by the Board of the district to represent the community's commitment to a strong educational program for the district's children. This is a huge commitment and involvement that she loves.
